Huntingdonshire Cruse Bereavement Care

Smashing Evening with Cruse Bereavement Care.
On Tuesday 3rd August 2016 we were hosts to Ruth Dube and Sheila Devlin from the local Huntingdonshire branch of Cruse Bereavement Care. Ruth and Sheila provided an informative talk on the essential work that they do.
Cruse Bereavement Care is the leading national charity for bereaved people in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and offer support, advice and information to children, young people and adults when someone dies and work to enhance society’s care of bereaved people. Cruse’s services are provided by a network of trained volunteers and are confidential and free.
In recognition of the highly valuable work that they do, President Mike Raettig was delighted to present a cheque for £500 to Ruth , and rightly praised the truly impressive levels of care that they provide, during what are difficult and often traumatic times.
